Amino Acids | Health Supplement

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein as well as of the body. Some of the amino acids which are the derivatives of the essential amino acids are very useful for growth and development however human body can synthesize them but during stress of poor metabolic activities they may be externally supplemented. Here are few of them described:

L-Glutamine is an amino acid. Generally it is synthesized in the body in a limited amount. During stress the requirement of glutamine is increased by the body. Glutamine is found in muscles. The mineral salts are also added to compensate the loss of ions during the metabolic activity.
AVAILABILITY OF GLUTAMINE
The amino acid is synthesized in the body in the form of glutamic acid but in limited amount during stress. The dietary source of glutamine is beef and chicken. Thus it become hard for vegans to meet their requirement. In that case glutamine is externally supplemented in the body.

HEALTH BENEFITS

  • Build immunity
  • Gut function
  • Helps to counteract oxidative stress
  • Growth and development of muscles

L-Arginine is an amino acid require
d for the growth and development of the body. In the body, the amino acid arginine changes into nitric oxide (NO). Nitric oxide is a powerful neurotransmitter that helps blood vessels relax and also improves circulation. L-arginine also stimulates the release of growth hormone, insulin, and other substances in the body.
Availability of arginine
Lacks of arginine are uncommon. It's rich in a wide range of kinds of nourishments, and your body can likewise make it. Arginine-rich foods incorporate red meat, angle, poultry, wheat germ, grains, nuts and seeds, and dairy items. In any case, what does arginine improve the situation the heart, and are there potential symptoms.

Benefits of arginine

  • Improve cardiovascular system
  • Neurotransmitter
  • Growth hormones
  • Muscle development
L-Carnitine
It is an aminoacid found in muscles. This is required for the production of energy by using fats as fuels.  It decreases the cholesterol levels.

Sources
It is synthesized in the body but their dietary source is meat and poultry products, tgus for vegans it may be supplemented externally.

Benefits
  • Healthy muscles
  • Lowers cholesterol and fat level
  • Healthy cardiovascular system

L-Taurine
It is an aminoacid gound in the tissues and in the blood in small amounts. The function of this aminoacid is unique because It prevents the deposition of extra minerals in the body. Its highly acidic nature prevent kidney disorders.  It removes and decomposes the extra calcium and other minerals qhich may form stones in the kidney.

Sources
Taurin is rarely synthesized in the body specially when you are consuming protein powders. How ever it is readly available in meat and poultry products.

Benefits
  • Required for kidney health
  • Metabolism

The above mentioned aminoacids are very essential for human consumption specially in deficiency.  Taurin and Carnitine are used in the protein powders specially to pevent the formation of kidney stones.  Because if the externally supplemented minerals are not consumed by the body then they start to forming a clump later resulting in stones. However these amino acids are synthesized by the body but during stress( Metabolic Stress)  it becomes difficult for the body to make. Metabolic stress is the condition in which the metabolic rate is decreased below the requirement level of the body.
